New Life Perspective: New Year’s Challenge
I guess it’s that time of year – let’s make us a resolution. BUT… How about we TRY something different. Come the 1st of January, instead of starting TO DO something new. Start ACKNOWLEDGING something you already do.
Here’s your challenge – every day make a list of 3 things YOU LIKE ABOUT YOU or YOU LIKE THAT YOU DO. GENUINELY LIKE, 3 things that when you see them in others you immediately think “that’s a good person to be around”. For an extra challenge, vary these, and list different things every day.
Make this year’s New Year’s resolution about what you already do and about who you already are. Because the best thing that you can do is acknowledge the good things in you. It’s not pride, it’s recognition that you are worthy and you are wonderful and the world is a better place because of you.
