New Life Perspective: You Make a Difference

New Life Perspective: You Make a Difference

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound? Probably.

If you made a difference in the world, but you don’t recognise your contribution, did the world still change? Certainly.

In coaching and NLP we often start by asking for you to define the problem – What’s not working? What do you want to change?

Then we ask – What would you want to happen instead?

Sometimes we ask – What triggers the problem? What stopped you from resolving it?

We always want to know – How have you solved a similar problem before? What experience do you have that will help you now?

And finally, we want you to project into the future – What are the benefits of you resolving this issue? What other aspects of your life will improve?

This will help define and resolve a current issue so that you can move forward…

but I want to PAUSE so that you have a moment to GIVE YOURSELF CREDIT for what you have accomplished so far.

What is going well in your life? How is it better than what has happened before?

What DID YOU DO to make things better?

What other aspects of your life have improved because of the actions that you’ve taken?

What else can you achieve because of this experience?

In this holiday season, coming to the end of the year, this is a good time to remind you that YOU ARE ESSENTIAL in this world, and the world is a better place because you are here.

Recognise your importance and contributions to the world by viewing it from a New Life Perspective.
