New Life Perspective: Forgiveness
Think of something… or rather someone, that make you feel emotional every time you think of them. Now imagine, you are sitting side by side next to them, looking at the same view. Perhaps you are sitting on the beach, both looking at the waves; or both in the park, looking at the clouds. Between you is a comfortable silence… or you are talking about what you see (NOT about the incident, but about the here and now of your imagination). Then you both notice something funny, you share a giggle and relax. Now imagine standing up, while they are still sitting down. You are standing over them, tall and confident, and you are both still relaxed. Then you gently place your hand on their shoulder, you look down at them, smile and say “what’s done is done, I forgive you, now we move on”. Now YOU move on. Forgive, and enjoy your new life perspective.
